HELP SURVIVORS OF HUMAN TRAFFICKING BUILD THEIR FUTURES
Become A Mentor
Queens Arise is transforming the lives of human trafficking survivors by providing them with the education, mentorship, and opportunities needed to build sustainable careers in high-demand fields.
Queens Mentors are at the heart of the Queens Arise program—providing guidance, encouragement, and real-world support to women building new, independent futures through digital skills and career development.
This isn’t just mentorship. It’s a chance to walk alongside someone as they rebuild confidence, gain direction, and step into what’s possible.

The Job of a Mentor
What You’ll Do
As a mentor, you’ll be matched with one or more participants and meet 2–4 times per month (30–60 minutes per session).
Your role is flexible, but typically includes:
Support & Accountability
Help your mentee stay consistent, focused, and moving forward—especially when life feels overwhelming.
Career & Professional Guidance
Share your experience, offer feedback, and help them navigate opportunities in digital marketing, customer service, or entrepreneurship.
Skill Reinforcement
Support what they’re learning in the program by answering questions and helping apply it to real-world situations.
Encouragement & Connection
Celebrate progress, build confidence, and be a steady, judgment-free presence.
Time Commitment
As a mentor, you’ll have 2–4 mentor sessions per month in addition to some optional group trainings or community events.
Who This Is For
You don’t need to be perfect—you just need to show up.
Great mentors are:
- Consistent and reliable
- Encouraging and patient
- Good listeners
- Willing to share knowledge and life experience
Experience in business, marketing, or professional environments is helpful, but not required.
Why It Matters
Many of our participants are rebuilding after incredibly difficult circumstances. Your support can help bridge the gap between learning and real-world success—creating confidence, stability, and new opportunities.
